A stunning grape growing season for the 2020 Harvest. A dry Spring, followed by a hot and dry Summer with a little bit of rain just before harvest began, resulting in intense flavours and ripeness in the grapes and wines. A subtle perfumed nose brimming with pears, nashi and crushed ripe apple is repeated on the palate. A slightly drier mouth-feel an a great full length to finish. Perfect for all occasions.

Food Pairing

Versatile and perfectly matched to food or enjoyed on its own. This elegant, fleshy wine makes a perfect aperitif, or serve chilled (11°c) with fresh fish.

There’s gentle onion skin hue to this wine reflect the pink skin of the variety at harvest and a touch of skin contact. Aromas include fresh bosc pear and a apple, white roses and a quiet silty minerality. On the palate - fresh, fruity centric and just dry with a core of white fleshed orchard fruits with a lite citrus note. Silky textures, medium+ acidity and a lengthy balanced finish. Well made and ready to drink upon purchase and through summer 2022.
