Initial hand plunging in open fermenters for 4 weeks then 100% oak barrel aging in mix of new and older French and American oak barriques for 11 months. Displays aromas of black cherry with subtle flint undertones. Medium bodied, dry and youthful, dark berry flavours abound with moderate oak layers, the finish is long and generous.
