A single vineyard expression. Handpicked from the Upper Moutere site, hand plunged and aged in older French and American oak barrels. A vegetarian and vegan friendly wine.

A striking deep purple colour with pretty aromas of violets, red rose petals, boysenberry, with hints of raspberry and cocoa. The palate is bursting with sweet, ripe fruit, plum, red berries and juicy cranberries, the firm tannin structure brings everything into line and the finish has an interesting mineral note. Drink now with a hearty steak dinner or anything chargrilled.

The wine shows excellent fruit purity and charm with blueberry, dark plum, floral, clove and almond notes on the nose. It's equally appealing on the palate, delivering juicy fruit intensity combined with silky mouthfeel, finishing lingering and smooth Upfront and very approachable.
