Louis Latour
Beaune, Burgundy-Franche-Comte, France
Established in 1797
Louis Latour's exceptional domaine covers 123 acres and includes the largest collection of Grand Cru vineyards in Burgundy. A négociant-éleveur since 1797, the Maison is still independent, managed by Louis-Fabrice Latour who represents the seventh Louis and the 11th generation of the Latour family.
The Louis Latour family first bought vines in the Cote de Beaune in 1731, with land in some of the top Burgundy vineyards. Cooperage was already at that period a family occupation.
