The Kahurangi Estate Regional Series aims to capture the essence of several well known New Zealand wine-growing regions. Our first vintage in this series of our Chardonnay is a blend of two great winemaking regions, Nelson and Marlborough.
The Top of South Island is arguably the sunniest region of all New Zealand, with amazing climate all year round, perfect for producing exquisite, voluptuous Chardonnay.
You will enjoy the honey-oak and vanilla aromas with hints of ripe peach pair beautifully with tropical fruit and subtle spicy-oak flavours.

Kahurangi use a blend of fruit from Nelson vineyards planted on Moutere clay and the stony free draining soils of the Marlborough vineyard. Fermented and aged in a combination of stainless steel vats, and French and American barrels.
Playful aromas of yellow apple, baked apple, fleshy white peach, and white spice. Elegant and fresh with the aromas continuing onto the palate, light to medium in weight and a long, oak spiced finish. This wine is perfect for food pairing, light enough to match with fresh seafood, but enough complexity to also match with richer chicken and pork dishes.
